Behind the Pulpit Network is a dedicated team of individuals passionate about making
a positive difference in the lives of clergy families.
We understand the unique joys and struggles that come with being part of a clergy family, and
we are committed to providing resources, support, and encouragement to help navigate the complexities of this lifestyle
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive platform where individuals from clergy families can come together to share their experiences, challenges, and triumphs. Through our programs and services, we aim to promote healing,
personal growth, and empowerment among preachers’ kids and their families, fostering stronger bonds and a sense of belonging within the community

At Behind the Pulpit Network, we envision a world where the children of preachers are supported, empowered, and connected, regardless of their geographical location or personal circumstances. Our vision is to create a global community that fosters understanding, empathy, and solidarity among clergy families, enhancing their well-being and resilience
What we Offer
Healing Conferences
Our annual Healing Conference brings together clergy families from around the world for a transformative experience focused on healing and restoration We ensure access to qualified therapists and counselors who are qualified to deal with trauma-related issues.
Workshops
We offer educational workshops and seminars covering a range of topics including parenting, work-life balance, mental health, and entrepreneurial training. We provide tech, vocational and social skills to help people behind the pulpit get skilled and be financially independent.
Media Production
Through movies, talk shows, and podcasts, we aim to raise awareness and provide valuable information on issues relevant to clergy families. We use movies, talk shows and social media to garner information to create awareness around the church and people in it.
Counselling, Mental
health & Beth-Shalom
We provide access to professional counselors who specialize in addressing the unique needs of clergy families and a House meant to provide rest, physically, mentally and psychologically for clergy and those related to the people behind the pulpit.
Resource Library
& community
Our comprehensive online library offers a wealth of articles, books, and videos covering subjects relevant to clergy families. We provide a close-knit community where PKs are happy to have conversations about life and faith in a safe space
Emergency
Assistance Fund
We provide financial assistance to clergy families facing unexpected hardships or crises, ensuring they have the support they need during challenging times. We provide access to financial credit for pastors’ wives who are entrepreneurial, provide scholarships to children of missionaries and clergy, retirement giftings for old pastors.

About the founder
Ruth believes in her mandate to be a shining light that inspires and empowers. Ruth Zubairu is a PR Strategist and Online Visibility Consultant and she helps brands get seen, known and paid using online systems and tools. Growing up as a Preacher’s kid, she has been privy to the struggles and frustrations of what happens behind the pulpit of both her family and the clergy families she has met and encountered over the years. She is a wife and mom to 3 phenomenal boys who are kingdom shapers.
She served as the Programs Manager for IDEA Africa (Impact Driven
Entrepreneurship Advancement in Africa), a for-profit social enterprise working actively to grow the MSME sector in Africa by providing Startup.
Advisory, Global Markets, Mentoring and Funding opportunities.
She also oversaw the operations of the Founder Institute Accelerator program Lagos chapter, the largest pre seed accelerator program with over 100 graduate companies with a total cumulative raise of $70million+ in funding.
As founder of Sambe, a content writing tool powered by artificial intelligence, provides the perfect plug for solopreneurs and content creators to have access to tools and people to help them build a visible and profitable brand online. It provides search engine optimized content autogeneration as well as offers training and accountability to entrepreneurs.
